Hi, Louis! You also see the dark, warm greens with silver-tone findings in the “trachen” or traditional dress of Austria. Much of the clothing is for out door activities -hunting and such. But it is also proudly worn for the most formal events.
Yes…they usually put antique silver buttons on Loden too…..correct?
Yes. Also real horn buttons, which is what are on my Loden cape. And there are gorgeous traditional silk patterns that are used for very formal occasions such as the annual Staatsoper Ball. I bought some years ago and made a tie for OG. He still wears it and always takes it to Vienna with him.

Louis, you KNOW that this cardigan in hunter green is coming to my closet! (and the v-neck tank, too.) I bought two pairs of the hunter green WK pants– just to have a backup pair– and am debating whether to get a back-up in this cardigan as well!
