Louis, are the lace and lurex tights more of a hosiery weight than a tights weight?
I have some similar to the floral and I love them but only wear them with shoes rather than hide them under boots. When I wear boots with a skirt my tights barely show.
I have your leggings, herringbone and striped tights and can’t wait to wear them.I sent my niece the lace ones. It’s been in the sixties and up here.
Andrea….the lurex is more like hosiery. They are not as thick or dense as the tights….the lace, though durable, are sheer, and more hosiery like. Maybe you should consider wearing your skirts a wee bit shorter to show off the tights…LOL…Remember the lurex and lace can and should be worn during the day. Thy will have a totally different look with a pumps [more dressy], and a shoe boot [more sporty].
I intend to wear the lurex and lace during the day. I have sparkly gold, silver and black aerosole flats. I have tights similar to the lace ones and I do wear them during the day. Last Passover instead of bringing the hostess flowers I brought her knee hi flowered tights. She loved them.
I’m 5’2” have a long torso and short legs. Since I like my knees covered not much shows with boots. But I wear flats so the new tights should be fun!
Hello, Louis. I need some suggestions for wearing the lurex tights. I can see wearing the silver ones with black for dressy occasions, but would like more ideas. Would the gold with the flame stitch skirt and top be over the top? I’d appreciate any recommendations.
Dear Maia…..I strongly believe you can wear these tights with many many things. Of course when wearing the black silver….silver accessories….like wise with the black gold….gold accessories. First….a little black dress or any black skirt and top. Any Gray top for instance a gray or black skirt or pant with the new Shetland like gray v-neck [with or without a white wing collar shirt] and the silver hose. I do see them worn with pants and a flat or pump. I would love them with the flame stitch pieces and a shoe boot…very IN. The thing is you can really wear them with almost ant solid color where you would wear a black tight….it’s the jewelry color that will tie it all together. They would look great with black and white tweeds and the silver lurex. I think you will be surprise at how many ways you can wear them.Let me know if you have any other combination questions. You just have to experiment
