The second KEY color being offered in the NEW SLIM PANT is…….STONE………Now, let me be very clear….the Stone and the Olive are not exact matches to the other garments…..It really is impossible to expect different fabric and sweater mills in different areas of the country to dye to match one another….when they do….it’s a miracle!….but I think they all blend beautifully…..the word is….TONAL……For that TONAL look you can see what I have put together above. The tunic sweater, A259620…..the new jewel WK ENR short sleeve sweater, A257382…COMING IN JAN…..and on top of it all….a glimpse of the new REVERSIBLE COAT in the STONE and BLACK combination, A259614….Around her neck….the DOUBLE STRAND GM BEADS, J296893…..perfect!…………This Stone pant works with many other colors besides STONE itself…..starting with BLACK and IVORY. Clay, Sage, Mulberry, Olive Branch and all of the new Mosaic prints work with stone. If you have any of the Lace placement print tops in the Brick Red , Hunter Green or the Black….stone is in each of the prints. Louis, is the stone color of these new pants substantially different from the mushroom shade of the trousers that matched the safari-style jacket of 3 Augusts ago? I’m in for the black & olive pants, but I’m thinking that if the stone WK tunic sweater works with those earlier pants perfectly well, I’ll put those bucks into something else I’d like. Thank you, Karen, but what I want to know from Louis is whether he thinks the stone tunic will look well with the mushroom trousers. I have other pants called stone that look fine with the mushroom WK T neck, IMO, but I’d like his professional opinion for this particular stone color so that I don’t have to send them back.
Dear WNYgal….I would have to say no, they are not substantially different, and if you hung them in your closet you would probably not know which was which. The difference is this, the mushroom has a pink cast and the stone has a warm or yellow cast. All the stone garments, W Knits, Shetlands, reversible stone/fur coat all have the yellow cast. Could you wear the mushroom with stone….if you are not finicky and don’t care about this difference then yes. I will be honest and say it bothers me. I am finicky and a a purist.
That’s what I wanted to know. I don’t care about matching, but I DO care about whether they work together tonally. Thanks for your POV.

The pants are fantastic…but I hope you and QVC order a zillion of those coats! looks just like my mink with a reversible rain coat I had in 80s before I stopped wearing real fur! Brilliant!
Now that’s my kind of coat. Frankly Louis, I love when things are a little different. Exact matches look a little OC to me. But what I really want people to see are my accessories. And your clothing is the perfect backdrop for leather and bling ! Happy Columbus Day divine designer.
Is the short sleeve sweater coming in HG? The cardigan is too low for me to wear alone and I’d prefer a short sleeve sweater to a tank. The cardi over the V neck is a little bulky; I’m afraid I’ll look like the little brother in “The Christmas Story,” in his winter snowsuit (the one so bundled up he can’t move his arms.) Your HG is one of my best colors. Until this year I only saw it in Land’s End and Eddie Bauer. I think I now have enough to last me a loooong time.
