About a week ago I posed the question….”do you get QVC product e-mails, and if not….Why?” Some said they unsubscribed, others of you said they didn’t know how or where to subscribe…….
First to subscribe to get e-mails you have to be an active on line Linea purchaser, which I know many of you are. If you only make telephone purchases you can’t subscribe, because naturally they would not have your e-mail address. To subscribe you would go to the Linea QVC site…..scroll down to the very bottom…..and on the right you will see a box that says “Let’s Stay In Touch”. Below that you will see where to click on to subscribe…….During my conversation with the E-Team they explained to me that the e-mails would not only be Linea product, however they are very sensitive and mindful about how many e-mails they send out a month so you are not inundated with lots of product e-mails you’re not interested in. Actually, product e-mails are surprisingly limited, so it really should not become an annoyance…..For instance ….there will be an e-mail this month on the Reversible Cross and the coordinating earring ….and next month on two additional jewelry pieces…..then in Jan. another e-mail about a new Linea product introduction…These e-mails usually come just before or on the same day a new product is posted….so you do get a “heads up”……..so……. if you are interested I think it would be a good thing to sign up for these e-mails……If you find after a few months it’s not for you…..you can always unsubscribe, but as I said, and they informed me…..they are very mindful about what is sent out……….nothing ventured…..nothing gained……………….enjoy………………..much Love………………………..Louis
QVC has the oddest systems for such a large company. Joanne got an email regarding your poncho, I didn’t and my order was cancelled when the item was withdrawn before the show and I had to order from scratch, again. The only item notification I ever received was the TSV peplum jacket (an actual picture of the jacket) and I attributed that notification of a specific item because it was a TSV and I only buy your clothes. Oh well, as long as you keep up your system we are in good shape.
Did you just sign up to receive the e-mails?
I already get your product emails. If I remember correctly, I think I received one for the coat. But I am sure I received regarding the poncho sweater. QVC sends me product announcements based on products I generally purchase. QVC is pretty respectful and they do not inundate me with emails. QVC sent me the Linea poncho announcement.
On another note I purchased my first v neck whisper knit sweater. I love it. Your sweaters are the best!
Thank you for all of the information you provide. You are so helpful.
Thanks, Louis. I signed up also. I hope I get emails for new Linea items.
OMG! I’ve been doing it the hard way! I check QVC daily and search “New Linea” to see what might have come in. I can’t wait to sign up! Louis, you’ve made my life easier! Thank you with love!!!
Dear Barbara….I don’t think getting the e-mails is going to let you know everything that’s new
Louis you are correct. The email alerts/reminders are about upcoming shows, dates and times, not products. That would be nice, however.
Done!!! thanks.
I’m on it.
Beryl
I have been signed up under “Let’s stay in touch” and also below that notification area under “Account Status” you can sign up for email notifications which leads you to a page to select the kind of categories you want to receive and you can also update very easily. I have been using both methods for over a year and the only email alerts/notifications I receive on my computer (opted out of text alerts and don’t receive any info on my smartphone or tablet)are notifications of your scheduled shows; although your cameo spots like FEW don’t show. I do not receive a plethora of notices, only occasionally for your line and electronics because those are the only email alerts/notices I signed up for. I did not receive an email re: poncho, even though I bought, so I’m not sure what that was about. But I think the key to controlling information received is to sign up on both “Let’s stay in touch” and go to “Account Notifications” and structure what info you want and where you want information sent. Thanks for investigating.
P.S. Under Account Status it’s called Email Reminders. Email Reminders has a list to select what and where and to change.
Thanks for the info, Louis. I have signed up to receive these emails.
I’m deeply skeptical about their self-restraint and am expecting to get emails about everything from flashlights to WEN to cheap, knock-off tablets, but as you said, why not give it a whirl. Done.
Done! Thank you.
