…………Two existing Linea colors that work well with the Aubergine jacket are AUBERGINE itself and the STONE……and there are more like Perfectly Pink, Butter Yellow, Ivory, Pale Blue, and the Wing Collar shirt coming in the light tan………….Please notice in the photos above how nicely the jacket hangs worn open….. Above, I have the Aubergine WK PENCIL SKIRT, A237412, and the STONE WK SKIRT, A237412, with the NEW STONE SHORT SLEEVE, JEWEL NECK, WK SWEATER, A257382, coming this Jan. too. If you own the Aubergine tights [SOLD OUT], or the STONE ANIMAL INSTINCT tights, A260020, you are ahead of the game……Speaking about the ANIMAL INSTINCTS tights…IMHO they are SPECTACULAR, and the most FASHION FORWARD and UNIQUE of all the “Linea Body” tights. The STONE, BLACK and the CHARCOAL are not to be missed!!! They go with everything and elevate the look of a solid opaque tight. Since they will probably not be reordered…I really think you should consider these if you haven’t gotten them already, and if you do own them I would suggest getting back ups….that’s how good I think they are. The black are Jac’s go to black opaque tights….she wears them with everything!………….The STONE PANT, A259702 for the reg. length, and A259705 for petite, work beautifully with the Stone WK sweater and the Aubergine jacket. The diamonds in the jacket seem to pick up the stone color and they blend beautifully. These combinations, with the Aubergine, are a nice alternative to the navy pant, skirt and jeans. Dear Cela…in the photos you notice I kept the accessories to a minimum, because I wanted to present it more casually…..However!….when the occasion calls for some serious accessorizing, when you wear the jackets with say the navy pinstripe pants or the stone S/S sweater and stone bottom….skirt or pant with the Animal Instincts stone tights….this is what I recommend. Because the snaps on both jacket are gunmetal I would keep to that color. First the J317109, gunmetal stud earring [there will be more gunmetal earrings such as the Demi hoop avail soon….that’s of course if you don’t own them already. J296890, the gray and gunmetal pearl earring, J317110, the Gunmetal reversible cross, J296624 the gay pearls with gunmetal spacer beads [which can be worn with the cross], J296894 the Gunmetal pin with the gray pearl center and gray crystals, and the J317111, the tapered earring in GM with the gray crystals. This is what I recommend. These pieces will look great with these jackets , but more important will look great with so many things.Let me know what you decide.
Louis, I can hardly believe the animal instinct tights have not been reordered. I love ALL of the tights this season but for sheer classiness with plenty of chic and a twist of attitude thrown in – the animal instinct are my top favorites. When I wear them I notice all manner of younger gal “eyeing” them admiringly and hubby the same. Maybe you can circumvent the Q short sightedness by coming out with something “similar” next season 😉
Dear Nancy….it’s hard to top perfection…..The buyers know they didn’t sell out or at least almost sell out….even the BLACK! So I don’t think they will want to buy anything similar. I was hoping to do them in Olive and Walnut…guess not.
