……Every season, with each new group, I like to introduce some new Whisper Knit items…..scarves, shawls, skirts, pants….but mostly sweaters. This new style, A257356, in the PETROL BLUE, is a relaxed easy sweater and should be somewhat generous, otherwise it will not hang and drape as it should. This ease and drape is achieved by utilizing a dropped shoulder. The sweater is approx. 28 inches long….the perfect length for leggings. slim pants and straight skirts….The neckline has a ballet opening with a CURLED EDGE finish…If you think this neckline is too open for you…no problem….layer it with a turtle neck, sleeveless mock neck or a crew or jewel neck “T”………The bottom has a 3 inch finely ribbed hem with 3 inch slits on both sides. The sleeves are long and and are TOTALLY RIBBED in the same rib as the hem, which gives the sleeve a great fit…..This by no means is an over sized sweater, and you should NOT go sown a size or it will be too tight in the hip. Jac wears an xs and it fits her perfectly…. I have chosen the matching long WK SKIRT, A257384, and the Black WK pant in the photos above, but in the spring gleaming WHITE will look fabulous…… To accessorize I have added the BLACK WK SHAWL, A259111 for a little contrast and drama. BLACK JET, BLACK JET and MORE BLACK JET……..J284043 is the 72 inch necklace worn doubled……a wonderful necklace that has been reordered due to popular demand….there are 30 reviews and all are FIVE STARS…. Beautiful! How does Petrol compare to Lapis?
I would say, in general, Lapis is more royal and Petrol is more teal.
I think you may have designed the perfect sweater with this one. I’m a big fan of that particular curled neckline, being both casual and elegant, love that wide-ribbed but flat w/slits bottom, & need a longer sweater for leggings & my WK skirts. And every color suits me. Now, if you will design & sell QVC on a WK hoodie, my sweater wardrobe would have no holes.:^)
