Coming this MAY……….Long dresses……..I have asked myself why long dresses have become so popular, and seem to be here to stay…. My answer is simple….they are just COMFORTABLE!……….One piece dressing is so easy…..With a more casual lifestyle, and warmer weather, the need for less complication is paramount, and these dresses fill the bill………….What makes this one special is the PRINT……….Again, this is a engineered placement print…….an OMBRE IKAT type print. The wonderful aspect of ombre prints is how slenderizing they are. Your eye naturally follows the ombre up and down, and when you add a print pattern on top [in this case the pattern is also ombred] it provides slenderizing camouflage…..The dress is approx. 49 inches long, so I would call it a long dress, not a maxi….unless you are a petite. The dress will come in the one length. The SABRINA neckline is very flattering…..The dress is numerically sized, has a semi fit, a back zipper and a hook and eye at the top. There is a lining, but only the top is lined to give the dress a CLEAN FINISH. The bottom of the dress isn’t lined …..none needed….There is an above the waist seam with soft pleats. The placement of the seam is very important, because a raised seam adds length to the skirt which again, gives a longer slimmer effect…..There are inseam POCKETS!……. The color above is simply called ….BLUE….but there are many shades of blue starting with INDIGO at the top to a beautiful AQUA at the bottom….with many shades of blue in between…..The fabric is my polyester jersey that I have used many times before, and has been extremely successful…….washable…packable….great for travel……….For an easy cover up…..I just chose my denim jean jacket in the Indigo, Bleached Denim and White……..Three easy choices…………Can’t you see a summer WEDDING PARTY in these dresses….what fun!…..A263354 is the style number…………………….enjoy…………………………much Love………………….Louis
Is the Aqua at the bottom the same aqua as the aqua denim jacket? If so – would that be an option, or is the color too far away (being at the bottom)?
Dear Susan….not so good…the Aqua jean jacket is a more green blue and not in the dress at all…..However for those interested the yellow jean jacket does work with the Goldenrod.

Dear Grace….there will be two more “long” dresses. Please notice I said long and not MAXI. This is not a maxi dress, but it is a long dress. There will be one maxi and one long dress coming after this.
Dear Louis, I realized this was a “long” dress and not a maxi length after I posted the question and THEN read the description! Although I prefer a maxi length, I can make a long length work just as well, especially one as lovely as this one. I’m assuming the length on the long dress will be the same or similar to the tie dye dress? I appreciate your clarification and I’ll be looking forward to both the maxi and long dresses waiting in the wings…
The blue one is going in my shopping cart as soon as the dress is posted. Love the neckline. I already have your denim jacket. I am going to Quebec City in August. Perfect dress for the city. Comfortable in case it is hot. I do not wear shorts anymore so long dresses are my choice for staying cool. Nice job, Louis.
I have 5 of your maxi dresses already and thought I had enough. Then you come out with another one that looks just perfect! The maxi dresses are comfortable to wear, and that’s what I’m looking for in summer dressing.
Dear Louis, finally a longer dress that suits me — I’m back in the Linea dress game once again. I love the lines of it as well as the colors, too. Definitely blue for me, but am weak for the magenta as well. Thank you!
