…………………DARK GREY……….is NEW and was also high on the list of requested colors………………..Why three dark colors? Because each is figure flattering, and each has its’ own character. Dark Grey is the SOFT BLACK……it’s COOL, SOPHISTICATED, and always CHIC……It’s a nice break from black, but still has all the positive aspects of a black top. There are many women who feel black is too harsh for them, but grey is soften enough for it to be flattering……… People will respond to a woman wearing a Dk. Grey top as being unique, and certain accessories against grey look amazing and very different than they would against any other color……GUNMETAL against Dk. Grey is fabulous…..and were made for each other. It’s a very custom……designer look. Above, I have my SHORT PALM FROND necklace, J290362….the LONG PALM FROND necklace, J290364….and the PALM FROND EARRING, J290363, to be worn all together or separated as you choose…………This particular shade of grey looks wonderful with my Dk. Is there enough contrast between dark grey and black to wear together or does the dark gray look like black that is faded from laundering when worn with black? Sorry for the description but that is the only way I can express my question. I ordered dark grey and waiting to come via snail mail.
Dear HL…of course the answer to that is a matter of opinion. The picture at the upper right shows the tunic over black pants. I like it and think it is absolutely acceptable. It’s the same as putting dark navy with black….some people get it others do not. I like it together, and I do not think the gray looks like a faded black, but you may have a different opinion. I would also love the gray top with black velvet or suede in the fall/winter
