What a gorgeous blue and ivory outfit. Will the falling leaves necklace come in goldtone? If so, could you layer it with the frosted bead necklace above?
Dear Cela, the Falling Leaves necklace will come in all four colors. I would not put anything with the frosted bead necklace….that necklace should stand alone. What I do like is mixing the colors of the Falling Leaves necklaces….silver/gold…..silver/gunmetal…..gunmetal/chocolate.
Got it, and I agree. In fact, the bib style necklace, such as the frosted bead, is my choice for the sweater period. It just works, beautifully.
Louis, I understand the theme here of whisper knit tanks and whisper knit skirts but what about the bolero teamed with the Linea leisure tank and skirt? Thoughts? Or does the bolero seem too short to you to wear with the longer Linea leisure skirt of this season?
The bolero can definitely be worn with long skirts as well as maxi dresses. If you have the long WK skirt come fall that will be wonderful with the bolero too.
I figure you probably cannot tell me this at this point, but I’m really dying to know if the length on the bolero gets longer as each size goes up from the size small. 17 inches as you mention in your description for the smallest size is WAY too short on my body….if you can picture 17 inches on the plus size larger busted woman. 21 inches might make it closer to my waist but that’s only if the length increases with each size change upward. I’ll of course be pouncing on the “click here” measurements when the item gets posted on line. And holy smokes, I LOVE the idea of the longer WK skirt come fall with the bolero!
Dear Nancy….I got the answer to your question today….the Bolero is graded by size so each size up and down will be longer as you go up and shorter as you go down.
Yes…I don’t want to say definitely, but usually all garments are graded and this should be longer with each size up I will ask and get back to you when the office is opened again.
Wait! What is that chain necklace in the upper left corner? Didn’t Jac wear this or something similar with the goldenrod dress on the last visit to the Q?
Wow, I didn’t think anyone noticed the necklace on Jac….it blended in so well……..it’s the Falling Leaves necklace coming in July
Thanks, Louis! That is just what I wanted to hear. I had figured it to be something in your private collection but when I saw it here, I hoped it was something coming for us. Awesome! I’ll take it in any colortone. It looks like it would work back well with J317652 – what the Q calls the freeform bead necklace – for the “more is more” look. đŸ™‚
Dear Pecan Cookie….the bolero will work well with any necklace.
Oh, sorry… I meant layering the two necklaces together. I was attracted to the delicate sparkly look of the falling leaves necklace when Jac wore it and liked it a lot, then when I saw it in your photo, thought I might like to wear the falling leaves with the free form bead necklace for a bolder look and even more sparkle. So much of what you do relates back to another of your classic designs. Thanks for that!
