As many of you know this style of sweater was first worn by French sailors. Coco Chanel, who was leading the way for a more relaxed casual way of dressing, releasing the women from their corsets, took the idea and re-created the “Sailor Sweater” for her clients. So you see this is not a new idea, but certainly falls well into the category of ICONIC. It is a timeless design that will continue for decades……….This is a season-less sweater, and the only thing that may prevent you from wearing it is the weather. This has to rank up there with my all time favorite Linea designs! I bought it immediately in both the navy/ivory and navy/red. As we had a cool spring, I wore it often. LOVE the look as well as the comfort.
