I’m rethinking the Merlot tunic…if this is a true representation of the color, I may get this also. I already have the Violet, and I love that color. I was afraid the Merlot would be closer to Aubergine, and that color is too dark for me.

Yes I would say this color is pretty accurate. It is definitely lighter than the Aubergine.

Would Merlot pair better with vintage WK fuchsia or last season’s aubergine? I also have your wool Chianti skirt. Thank you.

Dear Rochelle….better with Aubergine….I would put the Aubergine tights wit the skirt, if you have them for a longer look. I don’t recall calling anything Chianti, but it’s a good name.

Louis, I think Rochelle is thinking of the color Cassis, one of the colors of that wool skirt. (I bought it, too.)

Yes it’s more in the fuchsia family……the Merlot is more of a paler wine.

Yes, Goldie, that’s it. I keep wanting to refer to it as wine, not fruit. The Cassis is more pink. I miss pockets when the wear skirts, dresses and pointe pants. I might also try pairing this top with my eggplant skirted leggings.
