***************The TRENCH COAT will be shown on AM STYLE, Aug 29th on the 8:00am show with Leah Williams. I would expect it to be posted on the 28th of August, but that’s just a guess….Style #A267875, and it will be numerically sized.

Dear Louis,
I recently discovered your clothing line and I am thrilled with the quality of your fabrics, designs and tailoring. I just wore your ikat blouse/jacket in chili pepper/black and I adore it! I’m contemplating havinbg it dry cleaned to perfectly preserve the tailoring and the colors just as it is, but I’m wondering if the spandex in the fabric would be harmed by the dry cleaning chemicals. I thought I’s ask your advice on whether to dry clean it or wash it – what would give the best results?
Thank you in advance for your attention to my question.
Best regards,
Ruth
Dear Ruth….there are lots of fabrics with spandex in them that are dry clean only, so I doubt there would be any problem having it dry cleaned..The Ikat shirt/jacket is a cotton/span blend so there shouldn’t be any problem at all…..but….always ask your dry cleaner first
Dear Louis,
Thank you so much for responding to me. I love the clothes I’ve purchased from your line and I want to care for them properly. I’m looking forward to your future creations!
All the best,
Ruth
I’ve said it before–I dislike numerical sizing!! Prefer letter sizing.
QVC makes hose decisions. They say there are less returns with numerical sizes. My manufacturer would rather do SML…less patterns.
Louis,
That is Great News!
Can’t wait – will be ordering the Olive for sure! But your Navy is Gorgeous too!
Will you have time to post sneak peeks of it so we can see the “real” colors (not the generally muddy ones shown on the site).
Yes, working on them, probably this week end.
Thank you Louis! Now I just have to decide which color!
Dear Louis,
I’m also wanting the trench in olive and navy, but I have a question about length. Is this intended to be knee length or shorter? Thanks, Louis. So excited about these new coats!
Dear Grace….that will depend on how tall you are. The coat is aprox 38 inches long for the size 6, so I’m guessing it will be above your knee if you belt it, which always shortens a coat. On petites I would guess it will be below the knee.
Thanks, Louis! I’m 5’9″ and just fine with it hitting above the knee. Good to know in advance. I’ve got a knee-length Burberry trench, so I’ll be wearing this shorter length with pants, jeans, long skirts, etc. Gives me lots of options!
