Sneak Peak #3…..I have to get these sneak peeks out……..no time to tarry! the shows are a week from tomorrow…Friday, Feb. 3 at 1:00pm and an appearance on the morning show too which starts, I believe at 6am…..that’s also on Feb. 3rd. Shawn will be with me to present this new jacket A221805, and you know she will be all over it! The fabric is my brushed cotton/span twill and the yummy colors are PEONY PINK, TANGERINE, IVORY[ which is whiter than the Pea jacket], and CHINO. The shape is slightly A-Line so it will look great on everyone…apples, pears, peaches and plums!!!! any bananas out there!!!???LOL. It is fully lined in satin. It has a raglan sleeve and a Double Breasted front……do not be afraid of a D-B. I did a black wool blend jacket with gold ball dome buttons very similar to this a few seasons back….DOUBLE BREASTED…..and EVERYONE LOVED it. This is a new version. Of course, this jacket has ALL of the details….straps on the sleeves, back buttoned trench flap and an invert pleat. Naturally, there are front band pockets, when used, will give you lots of attitude. The length for the XS is approx. 26 1/2 inches. This is a fun jacket and please have fun mixing and matching all kinds of colors and patterns. I have featured the A87423, reorder mock neck sweater in the WHITE, BLACK and HOT PINK…….Perfectly Pink is the new color and it’s beautiful…..perfect with the P. Pink boho. This is the sweater you have all been wanting and it was no small feat bringing it back to you…….. a lot of begging and pleading and explaining that you all loved it and wanted it…..even if it was at a higher price. Originally, it was not going to be reordered because the price went up…..which it did! However, it is still at the same original price……trust me when I say this is a gift. If you want it get it while it remains at this price. This is truly a designer quality sweater! It is made in a cotton acrylic blend and it is an EVERY NEEDLE RIB construction. I am the only designer on QVC to use this construction because it uses double the yarn, and we all know the story….the price of cotton has gone WAY up. Under the Peony Pink jacket is another sneak peak that is coming in the future. It’s a stripe sweater made in the same yarn as the A00025 sweater with the stripes on the shoulder and down the sleeves. This one has black and dark gray stripes on the torso and black, light beige and two pinks on the upper part of the sweater….it has a 3/4 sleeve…….but as I said….that’s to come later in the season. You can wear this jacket as casual or as dressed up as you want….it has a lot of versatility. Wear it as an indoor jacket or as an outerwear jacket…..it all depends on where you live and what the weather is. This is the same weight fabric as the blazer with the zippers above so it really can be worn as a blazer type jacket. Wear it casually or to the office, [very sharp with the mock and a pencil skirt]. I think you will have fun wearing it, and this is a piece that can easily fit into your spring wardrobes…………………………….much Love, Louis

Oh, disregard that. I just saw your later post. Great show today!
I have never bought clothing at QVC before, but this jacket is calling out to me. I can’t find it on the QVC site, though. Please tell me it’s going to be available!
Louis, first of all, thank you so much for your hard work, patience with QVC, and fabulous high-quality clothing! Second, I’m wondering if I’d be able to roll up the sleeves on this jacket without compromising its style? I’m short (5’1) and love the colors, but it’s hard to tell if the sleeves will be too long or not. Thank you!
Dear BB-MN,
The only problem will rolling is how much you would have to roll before hitting the strap. It might be simpler to just have it shortened……Louis
Well….I am speechless and broke. LOL. However, that medallion top is just THE most beautiful status print I have seen! The colors are stunning and THAT is one that I will be getting. It will go with just about everything and imagine this with a plain pair of warm toned sand flared jeans! Absolutely! 🙂 Louis can you tell me if this is a similar close fit stretchy fabric like the pearl print top that was in mocha, pink and aqua? If so I may go up a size. There is a olive chain print SILK blouse on the Bay I just bought and similiar in coloring, a classic. Your silks are lovely to have.
See you bright and early next Friday before I go to work and I’ll watch you on my smart phone on my lunch break. Thank you
Mustang Shar
Dear Sharon,
I’m not sure about the pearl print, but I would say it’s very close to the floral or baby cheetah print Ts in the same fabric. The medallion print is fabulous in both colors and honestly….I’m surprised there are any left. It will be a terrific addition to your ward robe and can be worn all year.. I remember the chain print well and it was a beauty! Do you have my chain necklace to go with it?…………….Louis
Haha..oh yes I do have the multi stand chain necklace! I was the one who could only wear gold jewelry until we confirmed with you that indeed, these are nickel free. That evening, I ordered that piece and now it is my go to status necklace. Louis, I have a long fit and flare white T shirt that I wear with jeans in the Summer. I threw on this necklace and LOL, this women comes up to me in the restaurant and just loves my outfit! I know it is the necklace that dressed this up. I have not ordered the matching bracelet because I do have a stunning large link 14K gold bracelet that looks most appropriate with it, but….I’m still thinking that I have room for yours.
Sharon….wear the two bracelets together. Jac has a very large gold chain bracelet and has worn both together….it’s a WOW
Hi Louis, just wondering… why no jewelry in this last sneak peek? Is it because you feel these items look better without?
I just wanted it to look more casual with large hoops and sunglasses. In real life the hoops ,make a big statement….not so much in the photos….
This is exactly what I was wondering. I’m not normally a big jewelry wearer (as in large statement pieces) and I was just admiring how nice these items looked with just simple hoops. Thanks!
Louis, love everything that you do. However, I wanted to share with you that your biggest fan lives in Macau, S.E. Asia, and that’s my sister. I tell her when you are on QVC and she watches your shows live on her computer, and before I know it, I have a long list of item numbers to purchase for her. She has asked me to forward a request for your jewelry. I think I can speak for all the women who love your work so much, that we would love to have more of jewelry pieces. Please, pretty please, with an extra cherry on top ?
Thanks !
Dina,
Now I’m global for sure! I know jmarie is in Japan and now Macau….very exotic! There is nothing I would like to do more then bring to all of you lots of jewelry……however, the choice isn’t mine…..I am working on it but I can’t make promises I can’t keep…………..Louis
Yes, she is–and happily expecting an ivory pea coat and a red suit by March! 🙂
Be still my heart!:))
Louis, I’m so appreciative of the details you give on these sneak peeks. Would you be so kind as to give the length of these jackets in plus size? If anything, length is even more important to plus size ladies than regular size ladies because of what we all would like to have covered. Or if not that, might you give us what the ratio is if a small is 26 inches long – therefore then how long is the largest plus size? Many thanks.
I really don’t know the answer to that question as I only get size xs samples. I do know the plus is always longer but I don’t think it’s a standard measurement…..I think it depends on the style…….Louis
Hi Nancy,
My manufacturer got back to me and she said the length may vary due to style but in general there is a 1/2 inch grade per size so if the small is 28 inches the 1X is 30 inches. That would be a good general guide…..now that’s for jackets and I’m assuming tops too, though I didn’t ask that question. Hope this helps…
…………………..Louis
Louis – Does the jacket have a shoulder pad, or is it your mannequin? With the rounded should it looks very nice. Thank you.
It has a raglan sleeve….no shoulder pad.
Great design, I love the attitude! Is the Ivory the same color as A200276 swing jacket with the tortoise buttons? That jacket is one of my absolute favorites and it was only available in the one color, and extremely limited inventory as I remember. If you don’t have it to compare that’s OK; I’m just trying to decide on color(s).
I no longer have that jacket but I would say they are very close.
Question…in the photos the chino looks lighter than the khaki in A213327? Is that a correct observation? I like both of them so am wondering which will be more useable for my wardrobe for spring/summer in particular. Thanks for sharing!
Dear Susan,
I just checked the samples and they look the same to me! If there is a difference it is extremely slight…………Louis
Thank you! Now the decision is harder because I really want both of these. Just got online and ordered the Robyn blouse in white and the new color chino because I missed out before.
Love! Would you tell us the colors in the striped sweaters, to help us decide on a jacket color (or should we just get an armload of each 😉 )?
The one in the photo is gray and black stripes on the body and black, light beige, and a pale pink and a deep pink for the upper stripes. The other color combination is a dark navy and a dark blue for the body stripes and navy, ivory red and green for the upper body stripes. The stripes on the body are very tonal so anyone can wear these without worrying about looking big……Louis
And the green goes with the pea jacket?
YEP…..it’s sort of a twist on nautical without being so literal.
Thank you so much for the quick response — and for more goodies to anticipate.
Yes! The colors of the A221805 jacket remind me of notch collar double breasted pea jacket you did in colorful fleece (A221805)– a while back. I think I need botht the tangerine and the peony pink in this piece. This jacket will light up my wardrobe now and in the spring.
Peony Pink! And that sweater underneath is a MUST HAVE. My heart was broken when I missed the pink trench with the constrast lapels, and now you’ve mended it again.
Thanks again!
