Hello Everyone…..By now, most of you have received the clothes from my May Anniversary shows. I hope you are enjoying them. It seems that there are many happy “Linea Ladies”…. I sure hope so. My June shows are 6/9 at 4:00pm and 6/10 at 5:00am….both are one hour shows. I will be working with Carolyn Gracie, whom I truly LOVE….she is the real deal!!! I will also be working with Amy, who is the sweetest new host. They should be fun shows. There are a few new things for June and two things that I thought were going to be on the May show. Summer is here, not officially, but it sure feels like it…….so here we go:
1-A199857, is a rayon, linen blend jacket. This is the same fabric as the dress with the organza inserts and many items I’ve done in the past. This jacket has an ethnic look with a small stand collar, 3/4 sleeves and side slits. It has a kissing front with loops and buttons. It also has a narrow modesty piece running vertically under the buttons so you don’t have to wear anything under it if you choose. The front of the jacket and the collar have a very intricate emb. pattern. It is Moroccan inspired and, I think… quite beautiful. Only the front of the jacket is lined to keep it a true summer weight, however, to make it even more special, it is lined in self linen/rayon fabric! Very expensive looking! The colors are: white with black and gray emb., purple with tonal emb.[ lighter and darker threads], and a natural “Linen” color, again with tonal emb. Wear them with everything you received from my May shows and more.
2-A199858, Is a rayon/span jersey tank. I actually showed it under the Leopard print lavender jacket. It has a pleat detail at the bottom of the neckline which gives the tank a little drape …not too much…. just enough to hide any tummy issues. The colors were done to go with the above jacket, but they work with many many things. The colors: black [works with everything and is the one shown with the leopard jacket], taupe….this taupe has a slight olive cast and works with the “Linen” color jacket. I love it with bottoms in black, natural beige such as linen or khaki and I think it compliments the new olive big shirt and olive boho skirt. It’s a terrific natural base color. Purple….Ladies this works perfectly with the gray and violet zip front jacket! The purple is a little deeper but the same cast. It also looks great with the pink/purple scroll print skirt! I tried it with the purple boho and the new long pebble crepe skirt. It does not match exactly….it is a little off, but, because it is so much deeper, I liked it…..It is a beautiful, saturated color and will work 12 months out of the year.
3-A199856, is my cold shoulder peasant blouse. It is the exact same fabrication as A198824. This blouse has shoulder straps [wide enough to hide any bra straps] and a square neckline. It has a button front and it has side slits. The sleeve is 3/4 length with elastic at the top and bottom…..Remember the shoulder is exposed! Very sensuous!!! It also comes with a multi-strand tie, self belt… if you want it . For me, it’s the perfect summer blouse when you are looking for something with a sleeve. It covers what you want covered and it is still cool and comfortable. The colors: black, deep fuchsia, and azure.
Hopefully, the A199791, jumpsuit in azure and olive and the A199800 v-neck emb. cotton/span t-shirt will make this show!!!!! The t-shirt colors are: black with multi-colored emb.,azure with multi colored emb. and yellow with multi-colored emb. The yellow looks gorgeous with the ivy green boho skirt! The A107319, window pane shirt is the reorder item for this show. The new color is the mocha shirt with the sky blue plaid accents….great with jeans.
Well, my Dear Friends, this will be the end of spring/summer 2010……then on to Fall in Sept. with jewelry, and essentials!!!!!!! Again, I must thank you all for your support, warmth and generosity. I am excited to be working on the Fall collection, but let’s all enjoy the summer…relax and look and feel great and savor the beautiful days.
All my Love…………..Louis

Would like to know about your line and when your next show is…
Dear Louis,
I can’t tell you how much I enjoy wearing your new print knit tops in both the medallion scroll and pearl designs. I hope that you will continue to bring us more beautiful prints in this wonderful fabric with 3/4 length sleeves. This top can be worn year-round, washes like a dream, fits perfectly, doesn’t wrinkle and is light to pack. Please keep them coming.
I hope that you, Jac, and your girls are enjoying your summer and I look forward to your July shows.

Mr. Dell’Olio,
I read that you will be coming out with tall pants. Can you tell me what the inseam will be. (keeping my fingers crossed that it is longer than 32″)
Looking forward to your fall shows. Your clothes are beautiful and I very much enjoy watching your presentations. I’m wearing your pink boho right now. Love it!
Donna
Hi Louis,
Thanks for clarifying your shows for the coming months. There are some things I’ve wanted … and resisted … so special pricing sounds good!
I loved your pleated tanks this time around – got the black and the taupe. That lovely pale olive color is so appealing, and I think it will look chic with wedge sandals, olive capris and turquoise jewelry. I love how your classics can go the distance from board room to weekend chic. Works for my life! Thanks again for your lovely designs.
Louis–there is some confusion about your fall shows. I thought I heard you say July then I heard September.
Can you clarify in your next blog post?
I don’t want to miss anything!
Hi gardensla….sorry for the confusion….I just found out QVC has booked me for a July 9th and 10th show…..they are inventory shows. My first new things will be in September with the introduction of jewelry and essentials. The essentials will be sold through .com only and will not be presented on any shows…..I will try to prop the shows with the essentials so you all can get a peek. I wouldn’t be surprised if I get booked for an Aug.show too. All I can say about the July shows is that I’m sure there will be special pricing, easy pays etc. I won’t know what’s going to be on the show until 3 to 4 days before. I hope this clears things up……..Louis
So looking forward to your shows. You rock, Mr. Louis!
Louis,
Thank you for answering my questions. Today (casual Friday) I wore your white T with the mesh inserts under the grey vest, you held it up that way on the last show- with my grey jeans and I got a lot of compliments.- particulary my own kids and their friends. Girls just wanna have fun-
Can’t wait for the June show-
Love,
Celia
Hi Louis,
Can’t wait for the June shows – the tank sounds terrific and I think I need it in the linen color. And, of course – always in black! I’m really looking forward to your “essentials” and accessories in September. Can we hope you’ll be offering some of those wonderful “chunky” bracelets you always show on your models?
Dear Louis: As always, I anticipate your shows and the new items! Can’t wait to see what you have for us in June and again in September. My May purchases are perfect; but what did I expect? Enjoy the summer!
Dear sweet Louis and Jac, thank you so very much for bringing all of these lovely creations to all of us. Believe me, I hold both of you in high regard.
I am one of your new Linea Ladies and everything I have picked up so far has been beautifully made!! I love the cinnabar/fuchsia top with the skirt and the mosaic gray/black top does go well with the gray/violet piping jacket or on its own with black pants. 8^)
I am one who tried the grape stretch velvet skirt with matching top. The grape color looks wonderful and the purple amethyst material on the sleeves and above the bust line really make that outfit perfect for a special occasion. Our wedding anniversary is coming up in the fall and that outfit will be perfect to wear out.
Looking forward to the ‘new’ items. Thanks so much for your hard work and effort.
Louis, I’m on pins and needles waiting for your show. I love my pink/purple jacket. If the matching skirt had been a bit longer I would have ordered that too. The azure big shirt is on its way to me.
Yipee—I have been visiting your blog every single day (ok more than once a day) waiting for the June updates. They sound scrumptious….looking forward to do even more mixing and matching with Linea!!
