February Sneak Peek # 11 is A232339, THE BORDER JACQUARD DRAWSTRING DRESS. This is a very EASY, RELAXED, COMFORTABLE dress. The fabric is similar to the other jacquard jerseys I have used…..77% Polyester/21% Rayon/2% Spandex.   The pattern is not PRINTED….it is KNIT into the fabric. It  has an OMBRE EFFECT and reminds me of the specks on a ROBIN’S EGG. The LARGE GROMMETS on each dress are BLACK, and the draw string is always black to compliment the black in each dress. The colors are………….BAMBOO/BLACK…………………THYME/BLACK…………..SLATE BLUE/BLACK…………………..The neckline is open and relaxed and it has a cap sleeve…..on the longer side as caps go. The dress is approx. 40 inches long. In the photos above I have the dress shown with the new Black Blazer, the WK Black Shrug [coming next month], and the WK Black Classic Cardigan, that will also be coming this spring. The dress is machine washable, easy care and perfect for taking away on a trip. This is a very unique, DESIGNER LOOK, and something you might see in the stores for hundreds of dollars……it will definitely bring on the compliments…………………..enjoy……….much Love…………………..Louis

February Sneak Peek # 10 is A232349, THE SCOOP NECK DRESS. The fabric is the same 96% Rayon/4% Spandex as my BODYSUIT and DANCE SKIRT. This dress has a BEAUTIFUL scoop neckline…… which has a very FINE PIPING…………The sleeve is a modified DOLMAN. There isn’t any armhole seam in the front, but there is one in the back. The hem of the sleeve is also finished with a very fine piping. The dress is approx. 44 1/2 inches long from the high point shoulder. Another way to measure it is…..it has a 26 inch long skirt from the elastic waist band. The pleats in the front of this skirt, which create a beautiful drape and also give terrific camouflage, are similar to the A222262 dress, that many of you own. This dress, as the one just mentioned, has POCKETS too……hidden in the seams.There is a FINISHED ELASTIC WAIST BAND, with enough stretch so there is no need for any zippers. The dress comes with a fabric covered belt that has a slide buckle……..to be worn or not. I am sure you own wonderful belts that can take it’s place, but it is actually a nice belt. There are THREAD loops on the dress for the belt…..if they bother you…..cut them off. The colors are……………………..BLACK…………………….BERRY…………….The difference between the RUBY of the body suit and the dance skirt and this dress is…..the berry is a DEEPER DARKER RED…..the RUBY is a TRUE CLASSIC RED……….both beautiful colors. The fabric , as you already know if you own anything in it, is super soft on the body and extremely comfortable. This a machine wash dress which makes it very practical, and a great travel piece. For anyone who loves the ease and comfort of a dress, this is an ESSENTIAL. With the change of accessories, you can wear this dress anywhere, any time of year, for any occasion……………..I know , for those of you who choose this dress, you will get years of enjoyment………P.S…… This dress in black…….reminds me of Sophia Loren…….so I am calling it the “SOPHIA DRESS”…………..much Love…………….Louis

February Sneak Peek # 9 is THE PLACEMENT PRINT ELONGATED “T”…….A232361………. The fabric is my 95% polyester 5% spandex jersey that I have used many times. The Hydrangea, the Baby Cheetah, the Medallion tops, and one of the maxi dresses from last summer were all done in this jersey. It is practically wash and wear. It is approx. 28 1/2 inches long…..a great length for leggings,Capri pants, pencil skirts and slim pants and jeans. There are separate solid bands of jersey at the hem of the sleeve and bottom of the garment, as well as a 3/8 inch band outlining  the V-neckline. It is a simple , but beautifully made garment. The print is a combination of paisleys and flowers all flowing into each other. At the bottom a solid area of color gives the print the DESIGNER TOUCH……instead of it being an all over print. There is also fine shading in the colors to highlight, what is called the “negative space”. It’s an expensive and complicated pattern on a very simple body. The colors are ………….SAPPHIRE BLUE/BLACK………………YELLOW/BLACK………………..GREEN/NAVY……..I am sure you will get lots of enjoyment from this top as it is  perfect  for day, night, and certainly the perfect take away piece……………….
