Bead Repair

Hello everyone,
I have been in contact with my jewelry manufacturer and we have discussed the problem many of you have had with the new bead necklaces being broken upon arrival. They are looking into why this has happened. Just for your information, they also manufacture the KJL line of jewelry and the Noland Miller line of jewelry, so they are highly regarded in the fashion jewelry business. I was told that they have used the same thread to string beads for years and have not had such a problem, so they ARE investigating. In the mean time, the CEO of the company has told me to pass this information onto you. If you have received a necklace that was broken they will restring it. You can send it to:
TCJC, LLC
400 Broad Street
Central Falls, R.I.
02862
In the lower corner of the envelope write: Attention Repair Department.
Please include
Your Name

E-Mail Address [only if you want to]
They will only repair these beaded necklaces that are broken.
In my 40 years in this business, I don’t know any other company that was or is willing to do this, so I as the designer, am very grateful that they are more than willing to take this position to satisfy and keep my ladies happy. Of course I am very sorry this has happened in the first place! None of us needs one more thing to cause aggravation and tension in our already stressful lives. Take a deep breath….it will all be good……..much Love, Louis

“POST CARDS FROM ANGUILLA”

Hello Everyone! WE’RE BACK!!!!

We had a wonderful time and the weather could not have been more perfect. Cap Juluca in Anguilla is one of Jac and my most favorite places in the Caribbean. The people are absolutely the sweetest and most friendly. Like every where else, hard times have hit the island too and most hotels were only 20% to 35% occupied…….not good for this time of year. As you can see from the photos the architecture is Moorish and there are villas along the waterfront with 5 suites per building. The island is very small and there isn’t a large airport to accommodate large jets, or a large harbor for cruise ships, so it is a very quiet island…….just the way we like it. We met a terrific couple…..Scott and Gina and shared lots of stories. They too, have been coming to Cap Juluca for many years. I like to rent a car so we can just go anywhere…anytime we feel like it. There are some really good new restaurants, so I have not gotten on a scale yet and don’t plan on doing it for a couple of days after some vegetable dinners! A typical day is up at 7am….which is late for us….go to breakfast at “Pimms”, one of the restaurants on the property….with an incredible view. Then back to the room and get ready for a day on the beach…..sitting under the umbrella and reading in between naps! At noon the beach attendant brings freezing cold hand towels to put on your face, head, arms etc and at 2pm they come around with frozen sorbets in different flavors. We usually order some lunch served on the beach, or if we are feeling ambitious…..we will take the car and go for lunch. At 4pm you can go to the main house for tea and cookies or scones. Jac and I continued our Gin Rummy tournament. We would leave the beach at 5-5:30pm or so and get ready for diner. Then it starts all over again. Sometimes, if we need a break from the sun we take rides and explore, or go for a frozen yogurt at a local beach shack. However, my favorite past time is just laying on a float in the clearest, bluest water anywhere in the world. That is a color I can never quite reproduce…..and I have tried. It was really hard to leave this time…….and back to reality. The sea wall is still being worked on and my lawn has turned into mud from all the trucks tearing it apart, but I just click onto my pictures of Anguilla and know that this mess too will pass…………………I will be on QVC again on Dec 27th. I do not have my own show, but I do have 6 or 7 new wonderful things that will be sold that day……..then a huge show on Jan. 7th…………..until then, take care, be well and God bless!!!!!………..much Love…………………Louis

“THE FUR JACKET”

Why is this fur jacket so special……well one of the reasons is , after 12 years of presenting clothes to you, this is the first faux fur jacket I am bringing to you! I have looked and looked at different faux furs and this one “called” out to me. It replicates BROAD TAIL which is commonly confused with Persian Lamb. The fur pattern of Broad Tail is more spaced out than Persian Lamb and the hair is flatter and shinier. …..my flash has made the fur seem shinier than it actually is. In the real world of furs the difference in price between coats in the two furs is approx. $20,000. Broad Tail is a very light weight fur and is extremely exclusive. The jacket I am bringing you TONIGHT on PM STYLE has a ZIP FRONT, horizontalĀ  BAND POCKETS and has rib knit sleeves and a rib knitĀ  back panel for movement and comfort. This treatment on garments has become a “LINEA SIGNATURE”. The front body is entirely made in the fur. The style number is A229709, and since it is already on the Linea site and has appeared in the QVC “Insider Magazine”, all the size info you may need is already posted. Another thing I personally love about this jacket is it is truly DAY to NIGHT and can be worn CASUALLY or DRESSY. A WHITE KATE shirt and jeans, a great shoulder bag, fabulous boots and big black sunglasses is all you need…….casual does not have to mean BORING. If you have to put a jacket on…..why not a faux fur with your jeans. The rib knit also can give the jacket a casual look as opposed to an all over fur jacket. For dressier occasions the rib knit gives the jacket an EDGIER look, and is not as serious as an all over fur jacket. Wear it over my new black sequin dress and you can wear it to any dressy event……if your life is casual and you have no need for such items in your wardrobe…..I SAY…..CREATE an EVENT! It is so much more FUN to play dress up once in a while!! There are so many things you can wear with this jacket and so many different looks you can create……your imagination is your only limitation. A bohemian look with the black paisley peasant boho skirt with shawls in different colors and beads to SUPER CHIC all BLACK, and everything in between will give this jacket lots of versatility. Pair it with you new Hounds Tooth check skirt and scarf for one look or your black skirt and or trousers and a red shawl another day. Like I said, it can hang in your closet for special occasions or it can become one of your go to jackets and wear it almost over anything. As of this very moment there are 8 five star reviews already in and it hasn’t even been presented. I will tell you there were NOT a lot ordered, so if this is something you are seriously considering….please don’t wait to long……when it’s gone it will take a year to come back…..that’s if it gets reordered………………………REMEMBER!!!!!!!! the SEQUIN DRESS and this FAUX FUR JACKET will be on tonight’s PM STYLE which starts at 7:00PM………..I will be on at 7PM and I will be selling the first two items of the show and that’s it…….SO……….I expect to “see” you all there!!!!……….Enjoy………much LOVE……………..Louis
