A BONUS SNEAK PEEK! ……..Too many sneak peeks and not enough days until the show. This is A215181, which is a reorder cotton/span T-shirt with the STRETCH METALLIC TRIM. Many of you own this already in the pink, navy and ivory which is the only color returning. The colors being offered this time around are the……….. IVORY with GOLD trim ……..BLACK with GUNMETAL trim………FROSTED LILAC with SILVER trim….and yes the frosted lilac WILL go with your  frosted lilac jacket  A213623. In the photos above you can see the black with the A199793, black/gray mosaic print boho skirt. and LOOK CLOSELY and you will also notice the black T-shirt with the A217982, silver/black LUREX SKIRT. Who said that was just a winter skirt?! Put on a pair of gunmetal sandals and your ready for any summer event. The ivory “T” is featured with the A221792, ivory Pea jacket, which for me is the chicest classic look, with a nautical touch….gold chains required…a truly timeless and RICH LADY look…….. and the frosted lilac is with the matching jacket……..PLEASE notice the GOLD, SILVER and GUNMETAL chain hoop earrings which I have accessorized with each outfit. There isn’t much I can say about this t-shirt that you don’t know. This is my signature cotton /span that I have used many many times. It’s substantial and wears beautifully and looks great after many washings. The black is deep and rich and the color will stay that way. Sneak Peek #4 is A224715. This is a knit t-shirt/sweater in the same 100% polyester yarn as the natural tank with the black flecks that sold out from the last show. Many of you purchased the tank so you already know how it feels. The tank is so popular that it was taken off the Linea site. The colors for this top are NAVY, TURQUOISE and CORAL, and as you can see these colors were chosen to coordinate with the floral skirt of sneak peek #3. It has a RAGLAN SHORT SLEEVE and an OPEN JEWEL NECK. The sleeve has a dolman effect. The length of the sweater is approx. 24 3/4 inches and was done in proportion with the skirt. It looks great tucked in or worn out, and looks great belted. It is the perfect layering piece for under jackets because it is very LIGHT WEIGHT. Of course it’s easy care which makes it the perfect piece to take away on trips. The colors are beautiful, the feel on the body is silky and the fit skims the body without clinging….I think that makes a winning combination…………..enjoy…….much Love, Louis

May Sneak Peek #3 is my A224713, FLORAL PRAIRIE SKIRT. There are many many floral prints out there this season, but this, as far as I’m concerned, is the absolute prettiest. It comes from my ARCHIVES, and I originally purchased it in Italy. The colors are CORAL,  NAVY and TURQUOISE. Each coloration is totally different which makes each skirt unique. The fabric is exactly like my BOHO….with the crinkle georgette and the full liner in the knit. I keep going back to this fabric combination because, IMHO, there is nothing better. It is comfortable in the hottest conditions….easy to care for and is great to travel with. The skirt has a full elastic waist so what ever size you order in the Boho….order the same in this skirt. This is a MAXI skirt so the length is 35 1/2 inches. For some it will need to be shortened…….there are TWO ways to shorten this skirt and any seamstress or tailor can do it. The first way is from the top which will leave the two bottom ruffles undisturbed. The second way….is from the bottom. The bottom ruffle is approx. 9 inches long. You can shorten it any amount you need to. DO NOT WORRY about it looking strange. If all you have left of the bottom ruffle is 1 to  2 inches it will look like a trim. It really doesn’t matter if you have a 3, 4, or 5 inch bottom ruffle….it will just look like it was meant to be that way…..who is going to know?? It will be fine!! There are so many colors in each print that picking a top will be easy. All of the above tanks are Linea…the navy is the A221977….I told all of you in Jan when it was first presented it was going to be an important piece going forward…..but….if you don’t have or can’t get any of the above do not worry…..my next sneak peek will take care of that………….

Hi Everyone,
We are back from our travels and my shows at QVC UK, and we couldn’t be happier to be home. We had a SUPER great time in Paris and Jac showed me all the places she worked and I showed her all the places I ATE! For three days we walked PARIS and walked our feet off. We saw a lot…. did a lot….and ate a lot. No time to rest…. I now have to prepare for my May 11th shows. A BIG HEADS UP….the print maxi dress will not be on my regular show!!!! It will be on the noon Q CHECK….just before my 1pm show. I still have “SNEAK PEEKS” to post, and after the shows…..when things quiet down…I will post my new “POST CARDS” from Paris and a few from London too. A quick story….on our last day in Paris we were walking on the Rue de Rivoli [not sure if I spelled that correctly]….a very famous street in Paris with lots of shops. I saw some berets in new colors and decided to pick some up. When I got back to the hotel I looked at my new finds….only to find out…FRENCH BERETS….were made in CHINA…..is NOTHING SACRED?!!!!!…..much Love Louis

With a little time waiting to leave for our trip…I thought…Okay…one more sneak peek to tide you over. This is my CAFTAN DRESS,  A224711. The fabric is new…..it’s a crepe georgette. What’s the difference between a crepe georgette and a regular georgette? A crepe georgette is a little heavier and not as see through…….but is still considered a sheer fabric. The colors are BLACK…..BRIGHT BLUE……. RED. The caftan dress comes with it’s own slip liner [photos above]. I do NOT think the slip, in this fabric, is appropriate to wear on it’s own as a dress. This is a CAFTAN dress….why the capitals?….because it’s supposed to be OVER SIZED….if you are of the mind there is too much fabric….this is not for you. I would also not size down because the slip will be to small……Ladies that is the look of this type of dress and I think it is chic, chic, CHIC. This is a true accessory dress, so have fun. You will notice in the photo to the left I have the blue dress with WHITE LEGGINGS and a WHITE TANK. I think doubling this dress as a tunic is a versatile way to wear it. The fabric tailors beautifully….so the collar and the placket down the front are sharp and clean. The dress for size xs is approx 36 1/2 inches. Of course the dress and slip are both washable so add this to you list of things to take on your next trip. The close up in the lower right shows [not too clearly] the sunburst darts that give the dress bust room and balance. You can always put your own slip or tank dress under this caftan if you prefer. It is a totally different kind of dress from anything out there in caftans….because of the length….the others are all long which can make them overwhelming. Many of my ladies have vacation plans to far away places and this very comfortable dress will work right in. What I am trying to do is give you a dress wardrobe of different silhouettes and lengths that you will enjoy NOW and for YEARS to come………….speak to you in a week!……..much Love, Louis
