……………………The TURQUOISE was simple to pull together….Anything in a matching TURQUOISE, BLACK or WHITE were easy answers……….The AMBER with WALNUT just needed some neutral accessories…..A LV bag coordinated perfectly!
…………………..As I was looking through one of my hundreds of books….I started to look at this one book on Russian Art and Textiles……”SOVIET COSTUME AND TEXTILES…1917-1945″….The painting I referenced for the print was created in 1920…..The Azure Blue combination was the original, and I added the Grey combination and the Hibiscus combination. The print was on a jersey. The dress had a scoop neck with cap sleeves….a waist seam and a gored skirt……The SHRUG was made in a jersey fabric also, and came in Hibiscus, Black and Azure Blue.
……………….By 2013 this crepe had become a signature fabric on many Linea collections…….The shaped, three pocket, fully lined blazer was detailed with The SIGNATURE LINEA METAL BUTTONS…….The BLACK…..RED….and TURQUOISE….all sold out once again.
……………….A June delivery of clothes always is a question of what should be offered…..Depending when in June they are shown, and then when the clothes are actually delivered….it could be considered late for summer……July in retail starts the Fall deliveries so the June clothes need to be somewhat transitional, but still wearable in the late June, July , Aug. and Sept when it can still be very HOT!…………A SHANTUNG CROPPED CARGO JACKET and matching SKIRT…..a PAISLET PRINT TOP and SKIRT……..a PRINTED SCOOP NECK, CAP SLEEVE DRESS, and a JERSEY KNIT SHRUG………plus the CREPE REORDER BLAZER were all offered in June 2013.
