“J435496 THE ELEPHANT PENDANT”

……………………..”THE STERLING SILVER & DIAMONIQUE PENDANT……J435496…….is BRAND NEW, and has just been posted on my Linea QVC Jewelry site……….There is a story that comes with this Elephant pendant……When I was in Africa, now over two years ago [I can’t believe that!], my nephew Chris and I were staying at a camp, and we were told this story about a Bull Elephant named…….”MOMBO”……..Mombo loved the camp, and liked to hang around and visit…..maybe it was because of all the watermelons they would leave for him to find…..For years Mombo would come and go, but he did belong to a herd, and there were little Mombos too!….He had become a beloved member of the staff!…..After many years….one day Mombo no longer came to the camp……He was discovered in a distant part of the bush….He had died they believed from natural causes….old age……….They had lost a dear friend, and no other elephant ever had taken Mombo’s place…..There were mornings when Chris and I would be leaving our “rooms” and we would come upon an elephant blocking our path, but they would move on, and none stayed like Mombo did….He was a legend….All of the staff at the camp always spoke of Mombo, and there are framed pictures of him in the main sitting room….I was very touched by this story of this loyal friendly elephant…..When I got home I sat down in my studio, and started drawing Mombo pendants….When I was completely happy with the design I submitted it to my Italian manufacturer……This pendant took over two years to bring to you!!!……Mombo has DIAMONIQUE PAVE EARS, and DIAMONIQUE stones in his TOES……He also has one larger stone  in his EYE……The pendant has an “ENHANSER”, and hangs from an 18 inch sterling SNAKE chain with a 2 inch extender…..On the back of the pendant it is inscribed…….”IN MEMORY OF MOMBO”……The numbers of elephants in Africa are dwindling more and more every year from poachers……When you see these magnificent majestic beasts in the wild…..in their herds with their babies following their mothers…..you can’t help but fall in LOVE!!!….The Mombo pendant is EXTREMELY LIMITED,  and only a few of you will be able to own MOMBO.

“BLACK & WHITE GRAPHICS”

……………….Black and White could easily be my favorite color combination……In the center are two knit dresses with an athletic wear inspiration…….The vinyl coated cotton, swing, raglan sleeve topper coats were sketched in solid white as well as the ALAPHBET print…….The little short sleeve swing dress is also sketched in the cotton span knit print…….She’s accessorized with a print head scarf, print tights…..and even print flat skimmer shoes……Today I would have added a printed canvas large TOTE.
