………………….If I had to choose ONE COLOR to design in it would absolutely be…..BLACK!……..Custom GOLD NUGGET HAMMERED BUTTONS, and GOLD ZIPPERS became a strong theme on this Fall collection. I used these nugget buttons and zippers on the solid black clothes as seen here….also on bright colors and tweeds and checks that were also part of the collection…..Yasmeen and Christy, at the extreme left are wearing two different jackets, but both are double breasted and have the zipper and nugget buttons. The zipper created a double closing and kept the jacket openings neat….It was my EXCLAMATION MARK!…..The wool crepe suits are worn with a pleated skirt and a pencil skirt……Nadege and Elaine at the top center are wearing the same jacket except Nadege’s is in leather and Elaine’s is in wool crepe….They both have the “FANNY ZIPPERS”….Point of Interest…..Elizabeth Taylor wore the leather jacket on the Johnny Carson Show, and looked fabulous!…..Elaine is wearing a collarless A-Line DB coat in a cashmere wool blend, and at the right…..Nadege is wearing a wool, DB crepe dress with the same button and zipper detail…………..ANY OF THESE would still look great today on anyone!

………………….Who doesn’t love to look into the clear night’s sky and see millions of STARS!……..That was the inspiration for this group of jewelry………I call it……..”THE CELESTIAL GROUP”………….ALL of the STACKABLE pieces like the CUFF and the Ring come either with the DIAMONIQUE STONES or plain without them…….Starting at the left….the plain CELESTIAL CUFF in STERLING SILVER ONLY, J422016 is now only available in sizes L & SM……Next the CELESTIAL CUFF with multi sized DIAMONIQUE STONES is available in either the STERLING SILVER or the STERLING with the 18 KARAT GOLD PLATE…..Its’ style number is…..J435488……..At the top far right is the CELESTIAL HOOP EARRING which is avail with the multi sized DIAMONIQUE STONES only in the STERLING SILVER and the STERLING with the 18 KARAT GOLD plate….the style number is J435494……..At the bottom Right is the CELESTIAL RING with the multi sized DIAMONIQUE STONES available in the STERLING SILVER and the STERLING with the 18 KARAT GOLD plate……J429081…..The RING is also available without the stones in the STERLING and GOLD plate….J421062, but it is in limited sizes…..Remember they look wonderful STACKED, mixing the DIAMONIQUE styles with the plain…..and also MIXING the SILVER with the GOLD…………..It’s a lovely reminder when you look at your wrist, finger or your reflection in a mirror and see twinkling tiny stars shinning back at you!

…………………Whitney Houston wore the YELLOW SATIN TRENCH COAT…..with matching YELLOW SATIN OVER THE KNEE BOOTS, and the YELLOW STRETCH VELVET GLOVES….for one of her record covers. I used to have a photo of her in it, but I can’t find it! :]

………………ZINNIAS are one of my summertime FAVORITE flowers!!!!…..I learned to appreciate and love Zinnias from my Mom, who had them growing in every flower bed around our house…..There were hundreds of them! She used to have the large flower variety, and would have vases of them in the house…..I have sort of taken it on as a tradition……I have two varieties of Zinnias…….”CUT & COME AGAIN”…..and….. “STATE FAIR”………The Cut & Come Again are smaller flowers [at the left], and when you cut them more and more grow…providing flowers all season long…….The State Fair Zinnia flowers [on the right], are four times the size, and are the variety my Mom used to grow…When you cut them they grow back too ….My mom , after cutting and displaying them, would let them dry in paper bags….then she would pull the dried petals from the center of the flower, and out would come black seeds at the end of each petal….She saved them for next spring’s planting…….I remember helping her plant them….first making many rows in the beds, and then planting the seeds, one by one!….This took a few days, and I know my Mom loved me helping her with this huge task!….Then you just water and wait!…That’s when I grew to love ZINNIAS!!!!
