…..This is wear it started……the original “WAIST WHITTLING SWEATER”, as YOU have dubbed it………….A210360, has been reordered and is now avail. The IVORY is the NEW COLOR…..This truly is a seasonless sweater, and Ivory is a seasonless color. For those of you new to LINEA…….when the Ladies first received this sweater they were amazed by the fit and how flattering  this ribbed torso looked on. I think for the most part many were very surprised. Now, this is not a miracle sweater! If you are an apple it is not miraculously going to suck you in and give you a waist, but many have said that it makes them look like they have a waist they haven’t had in a long time………I’m only the messenger…..You can read the reviews for yourselves…..I have chosen to show it simply with the NAVY WHISPER PANT. With Spring not too far away those navy pants are going to come in quite handy. The sizes are broken so if you love these pants, but have been holding off on the navy…..as the saying goes….you snooze you loose, and these are not coming back……….I happen to think the new CLUSTER necklace in the CLEAR, J317112, looks amazing on this sweater….It is a totally unique necklace, and a special piece….like nothing you will find at any other store. The CLEAR DROP earring, J291538, looks great with this necklace and on its’ own with so many things……great with white and great with pastels too…….The sleeve has a wide rib cuff and creates the effect of a slightly fuller, feminine sleeve……This sweater is made in the ENR construction…. ……………………………..BLACK………..has been reordered, and for me this is just as important as a…..LBD…….A more flattering look, with a Black WK skirt, you will not find. For those of you who have trouble finding just the right LBD that fits properly, because you are one size on top and a different size on the bottom….this is the answer for you. I would suggest the BLACK A-LINE WK SKIRT, A259625 , above….which to my amazement is on clearance, and avail in OLIVE and WALNUT too……This is the buy of the season.. For all of you who tell me you need a longer skirt……here it is!…….See…you never know…I thought this A-line skirt in WK would be gone in a nano second……It’s a good thing I’m not a gambler!!…… This sweater with any trouser pant is perfect….the stone trouser is above……..My simple reversible cross, J317110, makes a clean but bold statement, and looks perfect  with the silver BOLD HOOP…coming soon………For something that makes an even bolder statement…..the cluster necklace in BLACK JET, and again the matching drop JET earring…If this sweater is not part of your Whisper Knit collection…..I would highly recommend it…………….it’s a beauty……………….enjoy…………..much Love………………..Louis

It is as AMERICAN as JEANS……actually one goes with the other……Above, is a wonderful coffee table book for my Fashionistas………”AMERICAN FASHION”……….I am very proud that out of all the hundreds….if not thousands of photos that were submitted….my picture of Christy Turlington in my WHITE  COTTON SHIRT and TRIM BLACK STRETCH PANT was chosen for the cover…..It was no surprise to me that out of all the pictures I submitted this classic  photo of Christy, posed from an iconic painting by Matisse…was picked……………………………………….I guess if I had to choose one outfit women had to wear every single day…..this would be IT!…………………………..much Love …………Louis

……..The “KATE” shirt, A214116, is back……As you see from my collage above….it has NEVER been away………The new color is…………..BUTTER YELLOW………..It is a warn pale yellow with pink, not green, undertones.If you own the OPEN FRONT KIMONO CARDIGAN, A233950, shown above, then you know exactly what the color is……they work beautifully together…………….For those of you who are new to the Linea brand….this is the brief story of the Kate shirt….My wife, who is a WHITE SHIRT lover….and who will on rare occasions wear a color…….was always on the search for a good white shirt that didn’t cost $200. Most of the shirts she found  didn’t have a good fit, were made badly, and were see through…..and still cost way to much for what they were…..so…..my task was to come up with a white shirt that would please her and many of you who kept asking for the ideal shirt. Searching the fabric market for the right cotton was futile so I had this cotton developed. It is a cotton span blend, but it also has a fine twill construction which gives it more density…..no see through. My next step was to have the right style and finishes…..so….I sent one of my dress shirts to the factor with the pattern and asked them to copy all of the mens details…….down to the COLLAR STAYS…..Where do you find a woman’s shirt with collar stays?….It makes a difference….no curling collars. One of my “song birds” who kept asking for this kind of shirt was Kate…..a la the “Kate Shirt”……Yes, it is all cotton without any man made fibers except for the spandex for stretch, and the cotton has not been chemically treated to prevent wrinkling….so some light pressing may be required……but, to a true cotton shirt lover this is a small price to pay…..If you never pull out an iron or don’t use the dry cleaners then honestly this shirt may not be  for you……………………..Above, are three examples of the Kate shirt…the new BUTTER YELLOW, and the most popular WHITE….and Blue, a true menswear color.
