Jac and I arrived in PA. on Thursday, a day before my show on Friday. I like to come down early to make sure I don’t hit any traffic or run into back ups that always take place on the CT, NJ and PA turnpikes. As we arrived in West Chester PA. Jac saw a sign for the Goshen Country Fair…..”LET’S GO” she said….Since we had nothing better to do and I had already dropped off all of the clothing, sketches etc that I lug down for each show , I said LET’S GO!. We stopped at the hotel first to check in….got directions to the fair and off we went. I had never been to a real country fair with animals and pie contests and the best and biggest squash contest etc. If you have been you know what I mean. There is a picture of me, but I accidentally cut off my head when I was making the collage and didn’t notice it….now I can’t prove I was there….unless you can recognize my legs!!!The pretty little blond girl won a BLUE RIBBON for best calf. I think it was part of the 4H club. As a kid I always wanted to be a member of the 4 H club….oh well another dream unfulfilled! LOL… I loved the lambs in their little costumes with their hoods and coats….especially the ones in the Leopard and Zebra print. I don’t know what they were for, but they were the most fashion inspiration I got…..maybe to keep them clean before they were to be judged??? There were lots of places to eat and drink and tons of rides for the kiddies, and their were TONS OF KIDDIES….most screaming at the top of their lungs. I didn’t find any “fashion” inspiration from all the of people piling in and waiting on long lines for tickets to the rides. Lots of stands with different games where you could win a stuffed animal. After giving the place a good walk around, about 35 minutes, and we were starting to smell like hay…..it was time to…….LET’S GO!……Now I can cross that off my list of things I’ve never done………..Country Fair…..CHECK……….Actually we had a good time……………………….we always do.

As many of you know who were able to watch my show yesterday…..the LEATHER BLAZER was added onto the show at the last minute…so…I really wasn’t prepared to show it on the models the way I had planned. It was initially scheduled to be on the 18th….but as I always say….”Men make plans and God laughs”…………..The pictures were taken and the collages were ready, so I’m certainly not going to waist them……here they are…….

Above, is the luggage leather…..Some were afraid it might be too orange or pumpkin….it is not. It’s a true luggage or peanut brittle color. I absolutely love this color with any of your traditional Fall colors….two being….Hunter green and Aubergine, as seen above…..The Hunter Green version, on the left, has my Hunter Green TN, coming soon, and my Hunter Green WK pant. Since the Black is almost completely sold out, I know the sizes of the Hunter Green and the DARK NAVY will start to go next. With the H.G. I have chosen to accessorize with my DEMI-HOOPS in GOLD, which have been reordered, and two of my GOLD HORSE BIT NECKLACES, J288018, which are still avail. I love the simplicity of the Horse Bit necklace because it just looks classy, and I love CLASSY….NOTICE the HUNTER GREEN SCARF worn over her shoulder to complete “THE LOOK”….coming soon…………….For the AUBERGINE combination I have the new WK AUBERGINE SKIRT, A237412…..I would not hesitate too long deciding on this skirt….ESPECIALLY now that AUBERGINE DYED TO MATCH TIGHTS are  AVAIL! With the skirt I have the CLASSIC V-NECK WK SWEATER, A217629….FYI…it will be in the HUNTER GREEN TOO! For my green LOVERS…..The TARRAGON LEATHER JACKET works perfectly with the new WHISPER KNITS in the HUNTER GREEN…..Above the classic V-NECK, A217629, and the WK PANT. There is such DEPTH to the color of this WINE that you don’t often find in leather….they are usually paler and a little washed out…..I am very demanding! Above, I have the WINE LEATHER JACKET with the AUBERGINE WK SKIRT…..that skirt is going to be very important this season…..just so you don’t say I didn’t tell you!……and….the FLAME STITCH TOP in the BRICK RED……and yes, it does go with the BRICK RED SHORT JACKET and SKIRT….as well as the BLACK!!!……..I think it’s going to be a pretty Linea Fall!……………………..enjoy………………….much Love……………………….Louis

What’s a new Fall season without a little ANIMAL thrown in!?…….For Fall 2014 I am presenting a BABY CHEETAH JACQUARD KNIT…TOP, A257347…and….SKIRT, A257352……….The fabric is a Rayon/Poly/Span blended KNIT. It is soft to the hand, but has enough body to conceal and camouflage  any little issues you may think you have…………..The top has long sleeves, is semi fitted and has a stand collar which has a front hidden zipper so you can wear it open if you choose…..Obviously, a better choice for those who weren’t blessed with a swan’s neck. The top is approx. 24 inches long for the XS. The color above is……………TAUPE/BLACK……

The SKIRT, A257352, is approx 23 inches long and is a PULL-ON style. The waist band is contoured and the style of the top is very much like the pull-on Ponte pant that has been reordered. There is stretch to the skirt, but you should pay attention to the hip measurement……. Both pieces are interchangeable with BLACK….BLACK top with CHEETAH skirt……….BLACK bottom with CHEETAH top. I prefer black as the coordinate rather than trying to wear a Taupe top….I think it dilutes the look….if you know what I mean……….However, what I would like is a hit of COLOR…..like a RED, ORANGE, HOT PINK, TURQUOISE,  AUBERGINE, HUNTER GREEN, PETROL, ROYAL PURPLE etc. etc top, twin set, vest. or turtleneck. Even the accessories can be a shot of color…..necklaces, bracelets, scarf or even the shoe!……………Above, I have chosen to show it all with BLACK……….The BLACK ELONGATED JACKET will be avail in Aug……probably on my Aug. 18th show [details then]…………The BLACK DRAPED FRONT CARDIGAN, A257376, and the tank, A255148, are perfect foils to the skirt……now to finish the TOTAL LOOK??………my ANIMAL INSTINCTS TIGHTS in BLACK! That ought to solve  some problems  for women who don’t like their knees or legs……cover them with ANIMAL INSTINCTS …..Of course for my Fashionistas…..my BLACK LEATHER and KNIT jacket will be super HOT with the Cheetah pieces…….you probably have a zillion things to mix with a little Cheetah….One or two pieces can REFRESH your whole wardrobe………………………………………………………………………………………….enjoy……………………..much Love……………………………..Louis
