Morning Everyone……..I want to give you an update on two items that will NOT get airtime during my two shows on June 5th……The Stained Glass print top in the poly/span, A255147 is being held for a separate airing [don’t have a date or time], and the  A255118, solid poly/span V-neck short sleeve T is getting a “Show and Mention” only…..which means the picture will be flashed on the screen, but no actual air time. I will however, be having a good SNEAK PEAK of the stained glass top on my 2:00am show…..both colors will be shown….and I will have the models wearing the poly/span T on my 5:00pm show for you to see….I will mention it when they have it on…….The poly T is already posted and the colors, black, white and sky blue, match the crushed georgette pieces………REMEMBER……….the front of the white is doubled……..I will trey to get them to post the Stained Glass top too……back to work for me…..

…………….THE WISTERIA TANK in WHISPER KNIT, A255148, works perfectly with the COBALT TILE SKIRT, actually ALL of the new tank colors were colored to work back to the skirts. I want to discuss the name WISTERIA………Is this tank the exact color of the other Wisteria WK pieces avail…….the answer is NOT EXACTLY. This tank is slightly deeper and slightly bluer, but as you can see in the photos with the WISTERIA CARDIGAN tied around the neck, they are very close and definitely TONAL……The COBALT in the skirt does have a decidedly purple cast…..that is why the “Wisteria” works so well…….The tank is approx. 25 inches long, but I must say one thing about Whisper Knits…..they are very stretchy….so if you wanted it to be a little longer you just need to pull it down a little….not too much or it will ride up, but you certainly can get more length out of it. Likewise if you prefer it shorter…then with your hand you can ease it up a little……I’m not talking inches, but a half inch to three quarters of an inch for sure…………….This is not your TYPICAL TANK. The bandings on the tank are wider than usual. There is one 1 1/2 band which creates the armhole, and a 1 1/4 inch band creating the slightly scoop/square neckline. The bottom is finished off with a 1 3/4 inch tubular band. All of these measurements are approx. The SPECIAL bandings and how they are placed on the garment is what makes THIS TANK SPECIAL…………………I would like you to notice the four smaller photos at the upper right…..The two photos to the extreme right, top and bottom, show the sweater on the mannequin the way it is meant to be worn, and then below that photo is a photo with the sweater reversed….creating a higher neckline.. The two photos to the left of them show how the back would look wearing the sweaters this way………NOW…….I am not saying wearing the sweaters BACKWARDS will work for everyone. If you have a large chest it may not work…..but it’s worth a try…..Certainly under jackets and cardigans you will have a better chance……but then again it might work even if you have a large chest…..you’ll have to try……I just thought I should bring this to your attention so you might have more possibilities of wearing it….especially for those of you who prefer a higher neckline………As for sizing …stay with the size you would normally buy in a WK tank…YOU DO NOT WANT to size up from your normal size….The armhole should fit against the body….no gaping!………Personally, I love the “WISTERIA TANK” worn with the new TILE PRINT SKIRT and the BLACK WK CLASSIC BUTTON FRONT CARDIGAN….It has a lot of PIZZAZZ!……………As a separate color to add to you wardrobes….you will see WISTERIA goes with many many bottom colors….Gray or pewter as in the pewter crepe pant, navy, black, espresso, walnut and coffee bean, dark tan, twig chino, olive, WHITE and so many more………………………scroll down…………………………………………enjoy……………….much Love……………Louis

……………….THE JADE TANK, A255148, is a color I have not QUITE done before. I have done similar colors like REEF GREEN…..but none are exactly this JADE. I specifically tried to match the JADE in the TILE PRINT SKIRT, as you can see in the blow up photo at the upper left…….Due to the colors in the print, I chose to show the new Jade tank with the new COFFEE BEAN WK OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN and SKIRT…….I will never understand why some think colors like brown, pewter, or olive are not summertime colors…..not everything can be pastel or bright….These deep dark colors are BASE colors off of which your Jade, Wisteria etc. are played off of………They accentuate the high lighted colors. Most colors worn correctly can be worn all year……………….JADE……is one such FABULOUS COLOR……….scroll down…………………….enjoy………….much Love……….Louis

……………………………….Many of you have asked me to do a FUCHSIA color in WK………I think this DEEP PINK is such a color….It reminds me of all the beautiful tropical flowers I always take pictures of for inspiration. Of course it looks wonderful with the MAGENTA TILE PRINT SKIRT, but with a simple BLACK or WHITE bottom it makes a very strong statement on it’s own…….Accessorized or not…..it’s a STAND ALONE PIECE………………scroll down………………..enjoy…………much Love………………….Louis

…………………………..I know you have so many BLACK TANKS!……..but…..if I didn’t offer this SPECIAL TANK in BLACK….I definitely would have been asked…..”why no black?” This particular tank deserves to be in every color……especially………… BLACK…………….It really looks wonderful with the new CRUSHED GAUZE ASYMMETRIC HEM SHELL JACKET……A pair of IVORY CREPE TROUSERS and you have a fabulous timeless look….with a definite EDGE……………….This is the end of the sneak peeks for the JUNE 5th shows. Actually, this is the FINALE of my SPRING/SUMMER SEASON…….I will have a very small presentation on July 10th at 5:00am where I will be showing three new things and two reorders…the BOHO being one of them……………then on to FALL 2014………………*I hope you have found a few things you liked enough to add to your  Linea wardrobes.
