……………….You have now seen the OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN WITH THE ASYMMETRIC HEM, A255142, and the TIERED SHELL, A255123, both in the CRUSHED GAUZE fabric……….The third and last piece I will be offering to you in this fabric this season is the LONG ASYMMETRIC HEM SKIRT, A255139……………..It is already listed on the LINEA QVC SITE so all of the fit and measurement details should be there…….This is a pull-on skirt with a full elastic waist band, therefore there is some gathering at the waist, but I kept it as minimal as possible. Without a zipper it still has to be big enough to get over the hips. I think you can see this very well in the photos above. The skirt is shorter in the front and dips at the sides. It is fully lined with the tricot knit that I always use. I find it to be the LIGHTEST and most OPAQUE stretch fabric that I can use for a lining…….The skirt and the lining BOTH HAVE SIDE SLITS on each side……….This is VERY IMPORTANT………For those of you who may have to SHORTEN the skirt…..it is VERY EASY, because the skirt has a STRAIGHT BOTTOM….it is not curved…..If it were curved….it would NOT have an asymmetrical bottom….All the sewers and women who have worked with patterns know what I mean. The operation to shorten this skirt is very simple and any good seamstress should be able to do it in an hour or less…………….I always like to give you options especially in summer skirts when I think skirts are worn most often because of the COOL FACTOR…….Long skirts have to be airy and breezy. I think this is both…………….Above, I have paired the WHITE skirt with my new WHITE BODY SUIT, A254576, [the reviews have been excellent], and my WHITE DENIM VEST. Of course any color of vest will also look great. I have accessorized the outfit with my PALM FROND JEWELRY….the earring, the long necklace [both are sold out], and the SHORT PALM FROND NECKLACE which is still avail, but very few are left in the silver and gold……………..You can be as CASUAL or as DRESSY as you like wearing this skirt, and due to its’ wash and wear factor….it’s perfect for travel. …….GREAT BLACK SUMMER SKIRTS are not easy to find……..you may think they are, but I have not seen even one in any store I have been into. Due to the sheerness of the fabric I think this one is IDEAL. Wear it with my BODYSUIT, A254576, in any of the three colors or with a simple top….. solid or printed…..tucked in or worn on the outside……Tie my classic WK CARDIGAN, A233940, over the shoulders for when it gets cooler later in the day, or if you are going into an air conditioned building…..pick a color ….TURQUOISE….WISTERIA….LATTE.. etc. etc…..they all work………Dress it up with HIGH HEEL SANDALS….or wear it more casually with WEDGES….maybe with rope or cork bottoms……Flip flops for walking on the board walk of ATLANTIC CITY………….Night or day….home or away….I’m sure you will get a lot of wear from this skirt…now and all summer long…..going right into the fall…………………………………….scroll down……………………………enjoy……….. much Love…………………………..Louis
…………..THE SKY BLUE ASYMMETRIC HEM SKIRT is a terrific color to mix and match with WHITE, INDIGO and a slew of others. It looks so easy with just the NEW POLY SPAN WHITE V-NECK T SHIRT [a customer request, all info to come in a future sneak peek], and my INDIGO DENIM JEAN JACKET, A232350. I think the SKY BLUE is a wonderful new color. Now that you have seen all three pieces in the CRUSHED GAUZE…..I thought you should see them worn all together……..The SHEER JACKET WITH THE ASYMMETRIC HEM, A255142…..THE TIERED SHELL, A255123, and the ASYMMETRIC HEM SKIRT, A255139………………The look is very ETHEREAL……….I realize the photo of the BLACK jacket, shell and skirt might appear heavy, but because each piece has sheerness…..the look is airy, breezy and GOSSAMER………….I also realize all three pieces worn together is definitely not for everyone….but for those who can carry it….it is a fantastic look……..Sometimes just belting the shell will make a big difference if it looks like too much fabric on you……..Always showing a fit to the body with one of the garments [as the belted shell will do], will give you a whole different look………..Mix the colors or match them for a variety of looks…..For me, MATCHING the top and bottom makes it a little more dressy….appropriate for a special occasion……..MIXING the colors is a little more casual, but can still be worn for any event that you have planned………..Now take the THREE PIECES and mix them with everything you own and VOILA ….a brand new wardrobe. I would love the gauze jacket and shell worn with the new IKAT print long skirt….or just the jacket over the body suit and skirt….or the jacket, bodysuit and shorts….ALL IN BLACK for a very EDITORIAL LOOK…..That would look incredible with wedges, sunglasses and a large straw tote…..Straw totes always makes an outfit look more casual….Summer is almost here, calender wise, so PLEASE!!!! have fun with your clothing…………isn’t that what dressing is all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…………..enjoy……………….much Love…………..Louis
