The….TWIG TANK, A232345….&….SHRUG, A232520……reorder is in and avail. for purchasing……………I know many of you NATURALISTS have been wondering and guessing exactly what a “twig” looks like……guess no more. For me it is the perfect NEUTRAL color, and if you love your neutral colors….this is a MUST HAVE. I would call it a WARM MED. TAUPE……Both of these items have been reordered, and by now I think you understand what it takes for a garment to get passed as a reorder……..the stars have to be all lined up just so to meet reorder requirements by the REORDER PTB at QVC. It is a separate group, not the buyers, who analyze each piece and make that decision…………….These two pieces passed with FLYING COLORS!…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I have done many tanks over the last 14 years that I have been with QVC, and many many more during my career. I’m sure many of you already own quite a few…….So what makes this one different?………….First, it’s the longer length that so many of you have gravitated to. Since it is now not only acceptable, but fashionable to wear layering pieces longer than jackets etc. etc……this tank has added another dimension and “look” to your wardrobes. Even my petite ladies can, and love , this longer length. It is perfect with dress pants, leggings, crops, Capri and even shorts, which will be coming this summer. Pairing it with a pencil skirt or long skirt gives you another way to look, and depending on the fabric of the skirts [from denim to georgette], and the accessories you choose……………this tank can be worn for any occasion………The second special thing about this tank is the WAIST WHITTLING RIBS which are very slenderizing. Does this sound like a contradiction?? Ribs and slenderizing……….well it works and this is why. In the WK the ribs are not CHUNKY or tight and restricting….they glide and stretch over the body giving the illusion  of shape due to the vertical lines they create. Yes,they will hold you in slightly, but certainly not like a girdle….more like a Spanx……which smooth out lumps and bumps….however, if you are new to this tank….don’t expect miracles…LOL………….. The tank has 22 reviews and 22 out of 22 recommend buying this tank………I would say that’s a pretty good recommendation!…………………………………..

…………..The shrug is a wonderful ACCESSORY piece and was meant to serve one purpose………….TO COVER THE ARMS…..There are many garments that are WRONGLY called shrugs…..The one I am offering to you is a MODIFIED shrug. If you are interested to know what a REAL SHRUG looks like I would invite you to look at A234415, my FEATHER JERSEY SHRUG. Some may argue that is not a shrug as they know it. As a designer who has been in the business for more years than I wish to count…… has studied design, and who has combed through the costume departments of museums all over the word……….there is no discussion about what a true shrug is. I am just as guilty as the next at calling garments shrugs that really are not….they may be cropped sweaters with sleeves, or cut away sweaters as the one above with sleeves, but a TRUE SHRUG was designed to……… COVERS THE ARMS ONLY. Geoffery Beene, one of America’s greatest designers, created some of the most incredible SHRUGS I have ever seen…..and they WERE true shrugs……….OK, the shrug lesson is over…LOL What I am bringing back to you is my modified shrug that serves many purposes. Of course it is perfect worn with the matching tank, but on it’s own it can be worn over many sleeveless or cap sleeve tops and dresses. It is easy to pack away in your tote and after a day in the warm sun, you can pull it out when an evening chill comes in….or it becomes essential when entering an air conditioned building. It can certainly be worn for the office or dressier occasions as well as with a pair of jeans. They are season-less and great for travel, and they take absolutely no room in your luggage………….Ladies, shrugs are not meant or designer to COVER the bust. Obviously, if you are self conscious about this, a shrug may not be for you, but I honestly don’t think when you are wearing a MATCHING tank and shrug….it emphasizes your size…….if you haven’t tried THIS one……maybe it’s time………………………………..

Above, I have added my new WIND CHIME NECKLACE & EARRING……………..Is it for EVERYBODY………….NO………………….but for those of you who like to make a STRONG STATEMENT and  a LASTING IMPRESSION….this is for YOU……………..What is truly fabulous about these pieces is they look like they cost beaucoup bucks!…… The Gold color is fabulous and very real looking….they will be only avail in GOLD….. Sorry, I have no style numbers and only know they will be avail later this spring………..but they are worth the wait. Also, they are truly season-less. The POET SHIRT, A213626, has been reordered and I will be presenting it on PM Style, Monday, Jan 27th. Since the shirt is already avail. for ordering and all of the necessary facts are listed on the site….. for those of you new to Linea I will give you some additional background and info. The fabric is a cotton with just a little spandex to give it a comfort stretch. You will not find this exact cotton fabric in the stores or anywhere else on the Q as it is custom made for me with each order placed by me. It is a very FINE TWILL, which prevents any see through. It is the same exact fabric as the  KATE SHIRT A214116.  There isn’t a person, who owns either this shirt or the Kate shirt, that doesn’t appreciate the high quality of the smooth and soft cotton. The Q calls this a Poet’s shirt, but I see it more as an ENGLISH GARDENING SHIRT…..That’s my fantasy…..It has patch pockets and sleeves that roll up with tabs and buttons to keep them in place. There is a set in bib front like a tuxedo shirt, and a partial placket front with buttons to make it easy to get on and off. There are also side slits. The body of the shirt is slightly A-LINE, so it will be great for my apples and pears…………………..Dress it up with dress pants or a pencil skirt, or wear it more casually with leggings, crops, or Capri pants. It would be cute over shorts too……………….Above, I have it accessorized with VINTAGE, AVAILABLE and reorder LINEA JEWELRY. The chain necklace is long gone, but the CHAIN BRACELET, J159966 and the CHAIN HOOP, J267610 are avail. Remember, if you chain jewelry is loosing its’ finish….my manufacture will re-plate it for you, so that should not be a deterrent……………it also looks incredible worn with my PANTHER LINK WATCH, J273959, or my ENAMELED CHAIN WATCH J277885……….. The FISH…the FISH….the FISH…..yes it is coming I promise, but you must be patient as it is scheduled for later in the season. It will be avail again in the GOLD…plus the new SILVER….you asked for it….I requested it….and got it for YOU!….The FISH EARRING has not been reordered, however, it is still avail in the GOLD……..so when the 15 pair that are left are gone…addios…..did I spell that right? The POET SHIRT, A213626, is being introduced in the new……… PERFECTLY PINK…………….As you know, from season to season, dye lot to dye lot, FABRIC to FABRIC….I can never guarantee that a color such as P. Pink will be exactly the same as other things you may own in the same color. When they do come out exact it truly is a miracle….there are just too many factors that come into play…….believe it or not….the weather is a factor…If it is humid or dry on the day of dying the fabric……it can make a difference in the outcome. So don’t pull out your previous P. Pink garments to compare…………..nonetheless……..this is a BEAUTIFUL PINK POET SHIRT. I have it accessorized with the P.PINK PEARLS, J264035…..the “CLASSIC” PEARL BRACELETS , and the new STUD 10 mm PEARL EARRING J287991. I also have J278999, the new necklace with the PINK stone, pearl and gold ball bead stations mixed in with the pearls. Of course when I took the photo none of the new jewelry was posted, and unfortunately now that they are posted, some have already gone to wait list! This my dear friends is out of my control. If it were up to me….I would have liked to have the pieces avail to all those who wanted it……but it’s not up to me.
