………………..This morning when I went for my morning stroll through the garden with my cup of orange spice tea………I spotted this very large Eagle high up in the tallest tree……I would guess he was on the hunt for morning breakfast. The only thing that moved was its’ head…surveying the ground below…….I rarely ever see what I think is a Bald Eagle or an Asprey…..It was truly wonderful!
Eagles certainly are majestic and I’m so happy that you were fortunate enough to get such a beautiful bird picture on your walk this morning:) This bird, however, is not a Bald eagle! Bald eagles, even as juveniles, never an all-white chest such as this bird displays. Based on the brown stripe running toward the eye on your large bird’s white head, I believe this is an Osprey, which is very often confused with a Bald Eagle. Regardless of what type of bird it is, though, it is beautiful and regal, and it brought you a sense of joy to begin your day.
