I totally agree with you Louis. Everyone needs to have the courage to speak up. This was a total set up. I never thought I would see an American president sink to this low. I am praying the American people and the world will see Trump and Vance for what they really are. I am praying it is not too late.
I TOTALLY agree with what has been said in this post. Sallie, the same word (ambush) came to my mind when I was watching the debacle in the Oval office. It sickens me to see world leaders (and the entire Republican party) sucking up to Trump. President Abraham Lincoln said “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”
All that for “good “ television,I am sad and embarrassed!
All for the price of eggs. The saddest and scariest part is the complete ignorance of half of the people in this country. If they read anything at all, it is only the “ headline “ too busy to read the entire story to find out what is really going on. Only when something affects someone personally do they wake up. This is what has gotten us here. My grandparents fought the Russian pogroms to get here. My father fought in WW II. Donald Trump and JD Vance are scared, insecure little men who bully their perception of weaker men. They could never understand the strength and valor of Zelenskky. He is the real hero. They and the rest of the Republicans are the villains. Slava Ukraine!!
This is 100% opposite of what our country used to stand for. A disgusting display by incompetent bullies in their efforts to side with the adversary. As the granddaughter of Ukrainian’s who came to this country for freedom I can only hope we can return to our ideals.

100% in agreement. Yesterday’s display was a disgrace and an embarrassment. The Oval Office was disrespected, but not by President Zelensky. I have ordered a Ukrainian flag sign for my lawn. I stand with Ukraine, not Vladimir Putin,
